Why I Hate Claims About "Destroying The Country"

It's an empty phrase to begin with, an utterance without content. But it's a cheap shibboleth everyone is using now to claim their opponents are destroying the country/democracy/life as we know it, and therefore are unfit for human society or any civilized consideration.

If I tell you that you sound like Mike Lindell, will you stop?  Please?
