So I Guess....

...when we drone bombed the wedding party in Iraq, or the three men standing by a jeep because one was "tall," and we did that under Bush, it was okay? I mean I know none of this makes sense, but I was really wondering about that part. Well, and this, too:
The election attorney also claimed that she has faced death threats due to her fight to overturn the 2020 election.

"They are willing to kill people," she said, pointing to several deaths that occurred in Georgia following the election.

"We are talking about trillions of dollars of global wealth being at issue here," she continued. "Known people out there who want to destroy us and have been working to create what I call the apocalypse hoax with the response to Covid and every other problem we've had for the last four years at least."

"Has there been threats on your life?" Wommack wondered.

"Oh, I get threatened regularly," Powell laughed.

"Do you have personal security?" the host asked.

"I keep angels on my shoulders," Powell replied. "God did not give me a spirit of fear."

We are not dealing with people who make sense, and I don't understand why we keep trying to.  Sidney Powell would be an unknown crank if not for association, briefly, with Donald Trump (and association with Trump should not raise one to a level of credibility not allowed mere mortals.  Mike Lindell being the poster boy for that argument.).  Breitbart is literally as worthless as Steve Bannon, and as unimportant.  I'm all for mocking Breitbart (who isn't getting attention from CNN or NYT or WaPo), but I am wondering when we let these clowns go from our consideration.

Donald Trump is out to destroy the GOP?  The story there is not Trump, it's the 60 year long decline of that political party into a madhouse of louts and fools and conmen.  Trump is the symptom, at best; he's not by any stretch the disease.  Regard him accordingly, and wonder more about what replaces the failed GOP, because for them it's all over by the crying.

Why else are so many people speaking for it (Hawley, Cawthorn, Greene, to a much lesser extent Boebert and Crenshaw, Cruz and Gaetz) so angry and at the same time, deranged by their anger?  Anger can be a powerful too; it can also be just screaming into the void.

All the GOP is anymore is screaming into the void.  Narcisissts roam the land, determined to destroy as much of our government and the people as they can, to feed their endless need for importance.  President Biden may not be doing everything just right at every moment, but compared to the alternative, there really is no alternative.

Unless you just want to take as many people with you as you can.  Government as homicidal maniac?  Yeah, no thanks.
