In the last 24 hours, in the midst of an international crisis, @GOP -- the official account of the Republican National Committee, i.e., of the Republican Party--has tweeted over a dozen attacks on Joe Biden. It has not chosen to say a word critical of Vladimir Putin. https://t.co/AuYTlWHGqT

Why even Switzerland and Sweden are responding to Russia's "special operation."I've lived something like 16,000 days but in none of them I have ever been forced to think about Dr. Strangelove as often as I have today, in so many different ways, by so many not-so-different people https://t.co/QvLCeeh2md

I was noticing odd things on Youtube last week, like pro-Russia content, subtle for the most part, which had never shown up on the sidebars were all over it. I kept trying to block them but I couldn't get them to stop. I hadn't been clicking on or searching for Russia themed things that would have caused their bot to send that my way. Though I clicked on one of them, all about the most popular export products from Russia, Lada cars, other junk that was so ephemeral to anything that I don't even remember what it was. And booze, lots of booze which I have no use for. I did see one suggestion that all of that Vodka being pulled from store shelves might be sent to Ukraine to make Molotov cocktails. Ironic use for them.
