He convinced me Tesla is a piece of overrated shit. And then they started exploding. I’m not a rocket scientist but I did know SpaceX was just standing on the shoulders of engineers and decades of work by many, many people. When he talked about moving to Mars, I knew he was a clueless rich kid. And SpaceX is no further along in rocket development than NASA is. Unsurprisingly.
About software I know bupkis, but I’ve read the comments of too many software engineers to think Elmo knows anything, either. As for Silicon Valley lately wanting to emulate Elmo’s management style:
