“Dominate Truth”? 💩

Here @Dahlialithwick states very well what @paulwaldman1, @ThePlumLineGS, @AdamSerwer, @joshtpm and I have all been saying. It is a category error to assess the Town Hall on whether he was fact checked in real time.

When you invite Trump to use your platform to dominate the truth, as CNN did, you HELP TRUMP make an election less likely.

Am I wrong, or didn’t Trump lose 60+ court cases in that very effort of trying to eliminate an election? And his “well armed mob” left their guns in the hotel, for fear of making the situation intolerably worse. And the conspirators who planned that crime not only didn’t get what they wanted, they’re now all guilty of sedition. But now an election is less likely?

And Trump is winning because the new head of CNN wanted ratings? A jury found Trump defamed E. Jean Carroll, he faces another civil trial in October, he’s the subject of three criminal investigations, and yet he’s “dominating truth”? (Whatever the hell that means.) And Trump cancelled an appearance in Iowa very likely because not enough people were showing up? But Trump is making an election in two years a non-event for the first time in American history?

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. 💊
