Trump retweeted that. Texas’ presidential electors did vote for Trump because that’s who won the vote in Texas. And they did vote to condemn SCOTUS, which was actually an embarrassment. But I don’t understand what that picture of the Texas House in session is doing there, or why the Texas Lege is tagged.

The Texas Lege is not in session. They have nothing to do with how electors are chosen or with what stupid resolutions private citizens sign. It’s all as irrelevant as this:

Trump seems to think this will win him votes in the House and Senate on January 6. He seems to think people are listening to him. As of yesterday, it’s over. We are now in the “old man shouting in an empty room” phase. We don’t have to be in that room, or even pretend to listen.

Going to be interesting to see people ignore Donald Trump.
