Politics (and Religion) Makes Strange Bedfellows

I don't often agree with Rod Dreher (make that "never!" But never say "never"....), but today: Probably, but if Trump is right it's a movement of "thousands." They'll have dissipated by January 21. We were closer to this kind of danger when Curtis LeMay was a general. "Seven Days in May" was more prophetic than anything Flynn has to say.  "Dr. Strangelove" was more accurate. Yeah, this is pretty much nuts. But the nuts have had their four years. They're done.

  1. I'm opposed to snake handling because it's cruel to snakes, however, if adults want to drink strychnine I am ambivalent as to whether or not they should be legally prevented from doing so.
This isn't going to get better until the cabloid and other media are prevented from promoting fascism. It's rare that the inadequacy of the First Amendment as written is demonstrated on so many fronts all at once.
