For those of you wondering why Lin Wood has not lost his law license by now: that’s a damned good question. But I would point out that he could make this phone call and represent himself as an attorney (indeed, as could I, though my license to practice is merely inactive, meaning I can’t represent anybody or give legal counsel) . I wouldn’t do that because it might get me crosswise with the State Bar of Texas (unlikely, but why create problems?). Lin Wood is obviously not restrained by such concerns.Lin Wood, who still has a law license, called up a hospital, introduced himself as an attorney, and told the operator they’ll be charged with murder because they refused to dispense Ivermectin to an anti-vaxxer pal of his who got COVID. pic.twitter.com/qfKtmXkeoH

Which is merely to say “consequences” don’t have the, well, consequences you might want them to. Lin Wood is a loose cannon determined to go off at random. Short of putting him in jail (and so out of access of a phone), (and why would that happen? No idea.), there’s not much to be done about this kind of thing.
