Geesh, it was the first time in my life that I found the grocery store had absolutely no dried beans. Also, at different times, flour, rice, cracked wheat, essentially everything I buy at the store. Also, too, garden seeds, paper towels. I won't go into details but more than one person I know started using newsprint for TP, one using their backhouse for the first time in decades.
