Does This Mean I Have To Throw Out My Russian Caravan Tea?

My daughter has a dog. The name of the breed of her dog is “American Eskimo.” Yes, that’s problematic, but the name goes back over 100 years, when it was less problematic. It was changed because the old name was, at the time, problematic. What was that name? “German Spitz.”

Think back to a little unpleasantness in the early 20th century that led to all sorts of anti-German feeling. No, the first time.

Everything old is new again. And again. And again.
