But Republicans are obviously scared shitless about ranked choice voting.60% of Alaska voters voted for a Republican, but thanks to a convoluted process and ballot exhaustion—which disenfranchises voters—a Democrat "won."

This tweet on Twitter includes a “context” message pointing out the 60% GOP vote split between two candidates, giving the election to a Democrat (and the first native Alaskan in Congress. That’s actually quite notable.) So, politely, Twitter is telling us Sen. Cotton is full of shit.
Sweet.
Cotton is scared. How does he get the Supreme Court to ban ranked choice voting?
(No, it’s not the silver bullet that ends GOP voter suppression. There are cases where it puts the worst person in the race, in office. But it has advantages over “winner takes all.” And the fact it scares the GOP is lagniappe.)
A majority in Alaska voted "anyone but Palin" and got at least their second instead of their last choice. I would bet that a majority of those who voted for the Democrat did not have Palin as their second choice. That's how ranked choice voting works, it protects us from having the last choice of the majority "wining" a winner-takes all election where someone who can get less than a majority "wins".
