When I lived in Travis County, the constables were used as process servers. Granted, not for federal court cases. I found them to be very reliable.Also what if i told you that the relationship between man and wife is ordained by GOD and that includes a man sending his wife to start the truck so the man can jump in and have the wife drive off to avoid process servers and that you’re denigrating the American family itself

Still, Ken Paxton’s reported (per “Morning Joe”) excuse for this behavior is that he feared for his safety and that of his family. Which is really not the same thing as challenging the facts asserted in the affidavit.
And also calls into question the veracity of Paxton. We’ll wait and see if he makes that claim in court.
