The Boring Company’s actions show Elon Musk isn’t ushering in a transport revolution; he’s stifling any hope of one.

In the same way the Hyperloop’s purpose was to get high-speed rail canceled, Boring is distracting from transport projects that could make a real difference. https://t.co/d2N5QxF6I5
A funny fact in the WSJ piece is that the Boring Company’s permit in Las Vegas isn’t a transport permit, but in “a category called ATS, for Amusement and Transportation Systems.” That’s for amusement park rides.

I’ve been making this comparison for a while. https://t.co/jwXw6w0B8u
The myth of Elon Musk as a genius building a better future is falling apart. As that happens, we need to realize he hasn’t just taken a bad turn; he’s always been selling us a lie, and nothing shows that better than his fake transport projects. https://t.co/cLiLuIQDYt

First Trump, now Elmo. Maybe nature is healing and we are getting a bit better.
But first tell us more about that colony on Mars you were determined to build. And why The Boring Company is a fake enterprise that's never dug a tunnel on any contract. And why Tesla "self-driving" cars keep running into things. And why they catch fire and can't get put out until there's nothing left to burn."...Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections." pic.twitter.com/8oaVg0herk
