Remember When Inflation Was The #1 Concern In America?

Deal-hunting Americans shrugged off sky-high inflation on Black Friday, spending in record-breaking numbers online even as brick-and-mortar stores enjoyed the fading of COVID-19 concerns.
Customers spent $14.42 billion between Thanksgiving and Black Friday — up from a combined $14.04 billion initially projected, according to Adobe Analytics.
I know, I know:  all the polls said so.  What else did the polls say about the last election?

Beware of people telling you what other people think, or how they will respond.

  1. Pollsters can't address the reason that they get so much wrong is because doing so would ruin their business. Responding to a poll skews it for the simple reason that most people don't answer calls from unknown numbers, and anyone who does is,QED, not most people. I'd bet that it devolves into some kind of parsing of the non answers. At least that way no revenue streams are interrupted.
