Canadian MP Charlie Angus: Donald, how many fights can you pick before you prove to the world that you lose every single one of them?

You’ve kissed up to Putin, bowed down to him like an obedient Boy Scout. This guy is a war criminal, a disgrace. You’ve cozied up to North Korea, and yet your biggest threat in the world is Canada? You thought we were easy. You thought we were going to roll over, and we haven’t—and it’s freaking you out. That’s why you’re sending Peter Navarro out there.
Donald, we want to go back to working with our neighbors, to working with the communities on the other side of the border that we’ve partnered with for generations—our friends, our neighbors. But if you’re going to make them our enemy, then we’re going to fight you the whole way. And you’re going to lose.
You can’t even keep control of your own economy—it’s turning into a total circus. You need to understand, Donald, that the economy is bigger, broader, and smarter than your stupidity.
If Canada is going to be the front line—well, we’ve always taken the dirty jobs in war, the thankless jobs, the ones with no glory. If defending democracy and the international rule of law has become a thankless job, then give it to Canadians. Because we’ll do it. And we’ll stand on the other side with our heads held high.
So do what you’re going to do, Donald. But we’re ready. pic.twitter.com/jLoIRHf1Zj

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: Well, I think Marco Rubio probably needs to be sent back to school because when you say that someone doesn’t have a right to have a country, that’s an act of war. When you arbitrarily rip up trade agreements, threaten a country, and say you’re going to break it, that’s an act of war. And Canadians have responded in kind.

The boycott that Canada has launched against the United States is punishing. We were told in January that a 10% drop in Canadian travel to the United States would cost 140,000 jobs. We’re now seeing at least a 40% drop, and we’re hearing these nightmare stories about ICE detention centers—people traveling across the border to fix their visas being strip-searched, chained, and kept in deplorable conditions.
Is Donald Trump really trying to destroy the tourism industry in the United States? pic.twitter.com/EadhvUlorw
