Now, that's a coincidence, I was going to post two very different performances of Betty Carter singing My Favorite Things but couldn't get the idea that one of them was eating murdered baby cows out of my mind, I'd have had to mention that and it was Thanksgiving. I will admit that reading Holman Day's poem about selling off veal calves has stuck in my mind as few great poems has. The power of poetry.l
