...is a dangerous thing."Options" for using presidential power to steal back a lost election. Who prepared this slide deck? Who argued for its recommendations? Who knew about this, but failed to warn the public? https://t.co/vGyC2ggWfh

"The public" is such a vast and yeasty creature, and usually means "I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT! SO IT WASN'T PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE!"4. This is not some top secret document.

It looks like Fox News’ Laura Logan was openly sharing the 36-page version of the document on January 5 via Twitter for anyone to download. The link has remained active since.https://t.co/ifEXhawa3H pic.twitter.com/JLmNIE1o38
Is the slideshow stupid and foolish and full of shit? Absolutely.6. Here’s the bizarre cabal who may have created the PowerPoint document, according to the NYT.👇https://t.co/sbWzCICcjL

It’s hard to even begin to describe the absurdity of both the Ellis and Eastman memos. Just total legal nonsense. Together they constituted a banana republic-level pretext for an attempted coup. https://t.co/pz3Ev1vsRl

Is it a sign of the end times? I don't see how. The Bush/Cheney torture memos were only dangerous because there was a government willing to implement them. It would appear nobody in government was actually willing to follow Trump's desires. Does it mean Trump is absolutely unfit to hold public office ever again? Yes. And it’s a pity we’re unlikely to get 62 Democratic Senators (forget Manchin and Sinema) and keep a Democratic House so we can impeach him a third time and bar him from ever holding office again. There’s literally a 36-slide PowerPoint deck on how Trump could use military force to prevent the peaceful transition of power.

This is not about whose policies or judicial nominees are “better.” It’s about democracy vs. not democracy. And you’re either on one side or the other. https://t.co/YrkiOGmAmo
