Trump was never going to be impeached and removed from office. No 25th Amendment cavalry was ever going to ride to the rescue. Trump was defeated in one of the largest voter turnouts in U.S. history. That's as solid a repudiation as the system allows. And yet Trump won't have it, and his critics are, honestly, no better than he. He demands the world operate to please him; his critics demand their pound of flesh which the world is never going to provide.
Scorpions in a bottle. Now if we could only cork it and throw it in the sea; and move on.
I wonder if there was a law banning former officials from profiting from any book about their term of "service" for a decade if such guys wouldn't want the positions. The ones who kept this stuff back for their book have all proved that they never had any dedication to public service. I loathe them and the publishing industry that enables them.
