As I said last night on CNN, I would love to see a list somewhere of all the crimes that are not allowed to apply to Donald Trump so we can all plan accordingly. https://t.co/v7x4sgb4Aq

Or, you know: not.
The Department of Justice should issue a plea for calm because they’re still overwhelmed arresting the last people that believed Trump lies.

Especially if the arrest doesn’t happen on Tuesday, as Trump announced. (The Manhattan DA isn’t saying anything.)I suppose it’s possible, even likely, that there could be some isolated incidents if Trump keeps inciting, but I think he’s concocting expectations of mass protests that just aren’t going to happen and he’s going to look like an even bigger loser as a result.

Not just journslists:Trump has spent YEARS training journalists to reward him every time he ratchets up his language.

The more outrageous, the bigger reward from the press. Pavlov's pups exercised more self-control.
The Speaker of the House has entered the chat:Who’s ready for Tuesday? pic.twitter.com/XNnTXxPGLT

Funny thing about that statement: the House can’t cut funding already allocated. It can’t really do anything without passing a budget (which it can’t do, for political reasons). So this isn’t even sabre-rattling. It’s barely fan service. It just underlines how weak McCarthy is. Sorta like Trump is gonna look when nobody really takes to the streets to protest his arrest. 👀Did you have to wait to tweet for for Stephen Miller to send you this statement? https://t.co/0mPPy48k0F

Judges are not going to give him free rein to do that. You may think, well, what will they do about it? First, there will be a gag order, then a more specific order prohibiting use of named social media platforms and then he will find himself in pretrial custody. https://t.co/5afNIc9lOE
