At this point if he doesn't steal the silver and try to set the place on fire I think I'll consider it a victory....Chris will do a GREAT job! Mark Esper has been terminated. I would like to thank him for his service.

There’s currently a Senate-confirmed Deputy Secretary of Defense — David Norquist. Under 10 U.S.C. § 132(b), *he* is supposed to become Acting Secretary in the event of a vacancy.

Trump already discussing 2024 may mean a Trumpless GOP is impossible:Trump campaign examples of alleged voter fraud in Nevada turn out to be members of the military and their families who legally voted after being transferred to serve elsewhere. https://t.co/VFpc0NlObq pic.twitter.com/lf4LNjrrwa

But that does depend on NY and DOJ (and others?) not prosecuting Trump criminally, to begin with. And then it depends on "normal" not being comfortable for the majority of Americans:Their dilemma - will Trump let it be a Trump-less GOP? https://t.co/v728bpMpKk

The election we just had was a victory for "normal":Normal is so powerful: "We can save 10s of 1000s of lives if everyone would just wear a mask for the next few months. Not Democrat or Republican lives—AMERICAN lives…Mask-wearing isn't to take something away from you. It's to give something back to all of us—A normal life"—Biden https://t.co/T9xXkynd55

Even Nixon had to remake himself, and it took him 8 years in the wilderness to do it. He was no longer the Commie hunter he had been, in '68. Not as a public persona, anyway. If he isn't in jail or in trial, Trump will be 78 in 2024. He's already faltering physically: obese, his mental capacity publicly diminished. He may not be capable of running in 2024. And the country is certainly less likely to be enthralled with him. Biden will be 82 at the end of his first term. Interest in another octagenerian in the White House may well be at low ebb."Biden will never win the primary!"

*Biden wins the primary*
"Biden will never beat Trump. He has no enthusiasm, unlike Trump!"
*Biden beats Trump & gets the most votes in history*
"Yes, Biden won but he should've won by even more. A colossal failure, which proves me right." pic.twitter.com/A4RktuywC0
Can we all just start calling it the Banana Republican Party? Thx.
