The court specifically said a January trial was “ambitious” because the D.C. docket is full with the trials/hearings for all the Capitol riot defendants. So I suppose we could postpone those, except, you know, the 6th Amendment. And besides, I thought we had to try all those people ASAP or justice is lost forever.Where are all the stupid assholes who obnoxiously dismissed warnings that Dems were moving too slow?

Where are all the asshats who obnoxiously screengrabbed those warnings to snidely put them down as “doomposting”?
Great job, geniuses. https://t.co/t9QWFHlnAS
This isn’t a TeeVee court. We don’t go from indictment to trial to conviction in 30 minutes. Judges aren’t sitting idly by waiting for the cameras to be set up. Besides, the defense has asked for a two week trial. Do you really think it’s not reversible error to tell them: “No. Trial is tomorrow and you get one hour, because Laurence Tribe doesn’t like Steve Bannon.”? Grow up, people. Tribe used to teach at Harvard; that doesn’t make him the God Emperor of Law. If he ever tried a civil or criminal case, it was too long ago for him to remember. Frankly he’s been shooting his mouth off a lot lately, trading heavily on his reputation to get away with saying things that belong on Bad Legal Tweets. If he’s not careful he’s gonna spend all that capital.
And trying Bannon in July doesn’t mean the Republic will collapse in June.
