Donald Trump down to MTG, Boebert, Cawthorn, and a collection of crazies to be named in 2022, all agree Democrats are the enemy and want to turn us all into gay socialists! So, I'm not sure it's the Democrats who "despise the other party."

And which party is screaming about CRT and trying to ban any book in any school library that includes the word "gay" (I guess they'll get around to banning "Deck the halls" any day now)? Or, as Axios points it:

Some have expressed unyielding positions on matters of identity — including abortion, LGBTQ rights and immigration — where they argue human rights, and not just policy differences, are at stake.

Basically the GOP response is the argument of incels:  you should like me despite the fact I'm a flaming asshole who hates your guts!

Yeah, that's gonna solve the problem right there.
