Trump bothers you? Not Gingrich, not the “Tea Party” or the “Freedom Caucus” or Shelby and the evisceration of the VRA? Not the GOP House ever since Gingrich? Or going back further, to the reaction against our fellow Texan, LBJ? Nixon’s Southern strategy? (I know you were young then. So was I. We were in the same high school. Maybe if you’d “brought it” at the beginning, or noticed a few decades ago where this was going, it would be admirable. Now?
