Dear Elmo: Google Is Your Friend

Ahem!
Charge(s): Civil Disorder; Obstruction of an Official Proceeding; Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
Location of Arrest: ARIZONA, Phoenix
Case Status: Arrested 1/9/21. Indicted 1/11/21. Arraigned 1/29/21 and pleaded not guilty to all counts.
Plea agreement entered 9/3.
Sentenced 11/17 to 41 months in prison followed by 36 months supervised release, must pay $2,000 restitution.
That wasn’t even hard. First clue: doesn’t really matter how the media portrayed Chansley (accepting this arguendo). All that matters is the evidence presented in court to support the plea agreement.

Second clue: police officers trying to keep order and unable to immediately take people into custody does not mean Chansley was absolved of the charges against him. And that’s assuming Elmo’s argument is based on facts:
While in the Capitol, Chansley was followed by Capitol Police and repeatedly ignored officers’ orders and requests to leave the building, according to Chansely’s signed plea agreement.
Yup. Those are the facts Chandley agreed to, which support the charges he pled guilty to.

That’s how a justice system works. Maybe you should learn about it.
