At some point you get tired of pointing out that's now how any of this works. Fortunately, though the Trump fearmongers want to forget it as often as possible, no prosecutor and no court is going to read the Constitution as allowing a charge of treason because Trump is upset he didn't win in 2020.Donald Trump calls for the January 6 Committee to be prosecuted for treason pic.twitter.com/RTouf5gyKT

I agree with Date, but does anyone seriously believe these rants by Trump are going to turn away prosecutors currently investigating/seeking indictments?Actually, it's pretty simple. Prosecutors are only going after "TRUMP" out of all the candidates because "TRUMP" is the only one to have attempted a coup to hang onto power.

Prosecutors are funny that way, how they focus their energies on suspected criminals. pic.twitter.com/fJTmDdIdzl
Eh, I'm not. Just see them for what they are and act accordingly. The mid-terms should have gone for the GOP (they have for decades now, though that may turn out to be the exception that proves the rule. Democrats controlled D.C. for most of the 20th century. That could be coming around again, aided and abetted by the flailing GOP.). They didn't. That should tell you how 2024 is likely to turn out.Trump is all in for the insurrection.

His Republican competitors won't denounce the insurrection.
The Republican Party is half insurrectionist and half anti-anti-insurrectionist.
I am alarmed. pic.twitter.com/sPUWRdILqt
That's the spirit!Going to be kind of funny to watch GOP candidates dance around acknowledging that the presidential frontrunner and the party's semi-official media organ are more or less pro-storming-the-Capitol at this point. pic.twitter.com/VjrIaw4315
