Pundits Are Not Our Superheroes 🦸‍♀️

You have to imagine that Republicans are looking at Trump and these other candidates and saying, as long as there are multiple candidates against Donald Trump, he is more likely to win," he elaborated. "And that has to scare a lot of folks. So it was a lackluster event, but for Trump, it may have accomplished what he wants it to accomplish."
Yeah, the speech sounded like a bad Batman movie script: “I am justice! I am the night! I am… your retribution!!”

But riddle me this: this is a guy who spoke to a half-filled room and said, on camera, that it was packed to the rafters. He thanked the Fire marshal for allowing the crowd in.

This is a guy who locked people in the room when he announced his candidacy so they had to listen to him ramble for an hour.

At what point does a Trump event not accomplish what he wants it to accomplish? When the person in question is as delusional as Trump (is this news to anyone?), what standard of measurement is this?
