I almost want to see if a convicted felon could run for office from prison and get elected POTUS. It would be an interesting case of first impression whether a President would be released from jail for the term of his Presidency. Could he be released? Would his sentence suspend until the next inauguration?

Well, a a law review article it would be interesting. I honestly don’t think Trump can win another election, from jail or otherwise.
