I wish I could find the tweet with a photo of a "militia member," and a breakdown of approximate costs of the gear they were wearing. Several thousand dollars worth, and then the costs of transporting themselves to D.C. and getting hotel rooms, etc. We really have to let go of the myth that "economic anxiety" is the driving force in "radicalization." It wasn't true with the people flying from America to Syria to join ISIS, and it ain't true here.
