Can't Buy Me Love (Either)

And Trump doesn't pay for loyalty. (I think Dershowitz's legal defense just went to shit.) The exception to the attorney-client privilege is very narrow, but it involves generally evidence the client was actively engaged in fraud or criminal activity when seeking advice from counsel.

This is why a search like this one went up to the USAG for approval.  They want all their ducks in a row in case of a court challenge.

For Trump to intervene would mean walking right into the valley of death:  legal cannons to the right of him, legal cannons to the left of him, legal cannons in front of him.  All using his intervention to seek further evidence of criminality or fraud straight from the horse's mouth.

So, sure, Trump wants to do that.  Why not?  He's leaving Florida soon anyway.

Meanwhile, back at the Bar...
Uh, yeah...good luck with that.
