Of course, we’d have to amend the Constitution. Or somehow make the implementation of the 25th Amendment actually possible.
But the doctor is right. There are consequences of extended lifespans that we as a society need to face. Preferably before it’s a crisis.
How about including Senators and House members in that. Though what you could do about the young and demented isn't covered in that. I don't think having people nearing the century mark making laws that won't ever really effect people in their lifetimes is a great idea. Manchin and the entire Republican caucus of the Senate are a disaster in that regard.
