Senior campaign officials were unaware of the project, according to one former official.— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) June 21, 2022

Heh. And a reminder: "They don't catch the smart ones, folks."
"In other words: many of the people actually running Trump’s reelection operation are now saying they somehow had zero clue that an entire documentary was being filmed largely about Trump and his reelection campaign." https://t.co/oSx0C4DXCu via @RollingStone— Meridith McGraw (@meridithmcgraw) June 21, 2022
And some critical points from the hearing:
“… And now the fruits of that doc are being mined for evidence by the congressional committee investigating Trump and his multi-pronged efforts to shred the American democratic order."— Asawin Suebsaeng (@swin24) June 21, 2022
AZ Speaker of the House @speakerbowers said he asked Giuliani for evidence on the dead voters he and Donald Trump alleged voted.— The Lincoln Project (@ProjectLincoln) June 21, 2022
They never provided any to him. It was all a lie. #January6thHearing pic.twitter.com/hghwgujbzk
Bowers recalls Giuliani saying at a meeting with AZ lawmakers where he and associates insisted they were going to show evidence: "We’ve got lots of theories we just don’t have the evidence."— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) June 21, 2022
Raffensperger says Trump lost because people refused to vote for him although they voted Republican down ballot. #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022
Sterling says that Fulton County had monitor on site. Before he left, he noted how many ballots had been counted on each machine. He did it again later, so we have the exact numbers-- there were no 18K new ballots. #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022

(I want to be president and just be able to make sh*t up. But boy would my fantasies be more uplifting than his.) #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022
Gotta say, listening (right now) to the "Raffensperger tape," Trump sounds one helluva lot like Mike Lindell. That is not a compliment.
No dead voters, either. #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022
There had been three "legal" recounts by that point. None of those recounts found a significant change in the vote count.
Trump says there's no reason not to just say they were wrong and say they recounted. Raffensperger says that was illegal. "The numbers are the numbers and the numbers don't lie." #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022
"Willful blindness." This is going to become the textbook example.
Trump: "Why wouldn't you want to find the right answer, Brad?... Everyone's going to look very good if the truth comes out.... The real truth is that I won by 400,000 votes at least.... Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break." #HATH— Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) (@HC_Richardson) June 21, 2022
