Huh

Former President Trump and his allies made this case on Fox and elsewhere, that somehow they were stealing votes from Donald Trump and flipping them for Joe Biden. That’s obviously false. Those were conspiracy theories,” he said.
“But the case would have revolved around whether Fox had done due diligence, whether it was reckless, whether it was simply reporting, as the network contends, on an extremely newsworthy matter argued by the then-president of the United States himself.”
'Course it’s Howard Kurtz, not Hannity or Carlson, both of whom had to continue the fine FoxNews tradition of pandering to their audiences: If Hannity and Carlson each turned to the camera and said: “Trump lied about the 2020 election because his fragile narcissistic ego couldn’t handle reality, and he spewed a bunch of conspiracy theories which we uncritically and slanderously repeated to you, our viewers, because we couldn’t risk losing you. We have no integrity, we just want to keep you watching.”, their audience would have simply yelled at their TeeVees.

And then, like the audience for the angel’s prayer in Twain’s “The War Prayer,” have concluded Hannity and Carlson had gone temporarily mad, because there was no sense in what they said. And FoxNews would go right on peddling bullshit. Because there is no law against that. And there’s a sucker born every minute.
Every. Minute.
