Are GOP donors still happy to be GOP donors? Because, yes, the GOP is stuck with Dobbs and abortion:“‘[Nikki] Haley, 4, she’s working very hard,’ he said, mocking the percentage results in some polls of her support.

“‘Chris Christie at 1!’ he said at another point. ‘These are tremendous numbers,’ he said as the crowd remained silent.” https://t.co/CjARI7NpoF
But the GOP is a minority party. Nearly 60% of the American public disapprove of Dobbs and severe abortion restrictions. But almost the same percentage of the GOP approve of Dobbs. They are the majority of the minority opinion. There is a buzz saw waiting for them in 2024.As GOP lawmakers push increasingly aggressive bans at the state level, internal polling done by ‘24 GOP candidates shows abortion is not even among the TOP FIVE issues to Republican voters… https://t.co/5JpCiFxGkt

New from @swin24 & me
But I’m not persuaded all publicity is good:TFW @gtconway3d has disseminated Trump's own dissemination of fake video targeting his opponent to over half a million people.

This is why Trump keeps doing this--it elicits the response he wants. pic.twitter.com/jTbbv3Fs5E
Even GOP donors are worried about Trump’s insanity. I haven’t seen the video and presume I’d have to go to Truth Social to see it. The story here is not the video, it’s Trump shamelessly trading in it. I’m happy to learn more about how unhinged and unfit for even decent society he is. It’s not like fake videos are going to expand Trump’s voter support. There’s a legitimate question right now of whether Trump wins the GOP nomination, or whether anyone else can.The completely psychotic & deranged former President of the United States re-posted this earlier. Yes, really.

He posted an AI VIDEO OF SOROS BEING EXECUTED, because he’s a fucking lunatic.
And not ONE Republican elected official will be asked about it by a single reporter. pic.twitter.com/YuSLyHIzLF
And the answer to the question is: is the GOP still a political party? Or is it just a collective of aggrieved white men?2/ clear that the bottom has fallen out of DeSantis’s campaign. Given how badly he’s doing there’s a good chance he won’t even run. Unless Trump dies there’s every reason to think he’ll be the gop nominee and there won’t even be much of a primary campaign at all in early 2024. pic.twitter.com/CajhxyJ33O

So what’s in its place? A Trump cult? How’s that working out?“The old Republican Party is gone, and it is never coming back,” Trump declared tonight to RNC donors in Nashville. https://t.co/UDJU58c3Gn

A "cereal" Liar? Does that mean Donald Trump thinks Michael Cohen @MichaelCohen212 likes Lucky Charms but says he likes Cheerios instead?

P.S. - I have no idea what Trump means by "Longhead" and don't want to guess.
But growing up in the South in the 60s and 70s - that wasn't… pic.twitter.com/MM4buGumNy
GOP donors really need to reconsider how they invest their money.SNL gloriously mocks Trump for continually saying (lying) that people cry in his presence. pic.twitter.com/7uilgZxJlr
