Lawyers know the real screwup was filing this case in Florida in the first place. My guess is Cohen's response is not going to be to challenge Trump's reliance on his statement first. It's going to be to challenge the jurisdiction of the court, which is much more likely to get this case tossed out. As a defendant, that's what you'd prefer to see happen.
