He has neither coercive nor persuasive powers. He imagines he does, and that’s his “art of the deal.” But he has no art, either.
He cannot coerce Canada into joining the U.S. A) statehood doesn’t work that way (the people of Canada would have to apply for it); B) they don’t want to apply for it.

Yes, he is demented. He shows that every day. But he’s not going to be impeached, and the lineup behind him is Vance and Johnson. And Vance is there for four years no matter what.
The best response is to quit bitchin’ about Schumer (who few of us can vote for) and start finding reasons to elect Democrats from where you live because Tip O’Neill was right: all politics is local.
Learn that, and quit telling me how mad at Schumer I should be. That’s not exactly giving me a reason to vote for Democrats where I live come 2026.
