A: Elon Musk Doesn't Own Twitter Yet

"I would reverse the Twitter ban. Obviously, I don't own Twitter yet, so this is not a thing that will definitely happen."

B: Elon Musk just wants to be accountable to Elon Musk:

"That doesn't mean that someone gets to say whatever they want to say. If they say something that is illegal or destructive to the world, then there should be perhaps a timeout, temporary suspension or that particular tweet should be made invisible or have very little traction."

He said permanent bans could be reserved for "spam" or "scam" accounts.
Yeah, that helps. C: Look on the bright side, if he gets control of Twitter in his best-case scenario of 2-3 months: I certainly don't think it makes Trump more politically attractive; or persuasive.D: Elon Musk may find out he doesn't own the world (although Twitter is arguably less offensive, even with Trump on it, than Parler)
E: It's still only Twitter. It's almost like being upset by chalk writing on the sidewalk near your house.

  1. Trump's tweets having the potency they did was in no small part due to the media focusing on them. I'm hoping for Musk to destroy Twitter which is still a cancer on democracy. Though I'm not waiting up nights. I am glad to see that more and more people consider Musk to be what he was, a goofier and more publicity craving Peter Thiel, both of them cancers on everything decent.
