The most effective response to this editorial is for Trump’s lawyers to bring it up before the magistrate who issued the search warrant and see what happens.

Unless they’ve already been embarrassed enough.

Clownish legal arguments aren’t worth engaging outside a courtroom. Put your money where your mouth is in the only arena that matters. Because, honestly, in the pages of a newspaper you can say any damned fool thing you want.
