Ouroboros

Some claim is this clever pre-emption for challenging the general election results. Well, maybe among mouth-breathers. It won't matter a whit in a court of law; besides, she seems to be saying she'll challenge the primary results of the primary she just won (barely). And how will she do that? The only venue that would give her authority would be a court of law, absent a statutory recount that I presume she'd have to pay for.

She says she's going to "investigate."  Not without a civil suit, she isn't.  And I'm not sure the courts would give her standing to review the results of an election in which she suffered no harm.

So it's all what the kids call "performative bullshit."  Yeah, she might carp if she loses in November; but again, that will be settled in court. Yes, the Cyber Ninjas conducted a long and heavily publicized recount of the 2020 election;  but that was at the direction members of the AZ House, IIRC (or was it the Senate?)  Kari Lake is not a member of either body.  And even the Cyber Ninjas had to admit nothing went wrong in AZ in 2020.  Their recount gave Biden more votes (no matter; it was not an official recount).  What happens if she loses votes in her recount?

The ouroboros was a symbol of cyclical renewal; of eternity, in a sense; or just the perpetual.  But it's also a serpent devouring itself.  Maybe a good mascot for the "new" GOP.
