… does it make a noise inside the courtroom? Does anybody even have to listen to it?Pompeo: I just know that when our founders created this place it wasn't in the cards that we would prosecute people based on a job that they had had or something.. pic.twitter.com/LCDvoylAWG

So they just go with the state tax fraud claim. And federal elections are also subject to state election laws. Pre-emption is not automatic. (I heard a dozen arguments about this on MSNBC today. Stay away from free legal analysis. It’s worth what you pay for it. My rule of thumb is that the people who make their living at this and spend a year (or two) on it, generally know what they’re doing.)Whatever I may think of the merits, it’s p clear Trump will be seeking a federal court’s injunction to stop this prosecution on the grounds that federal election law preempts the state. The only use of the state court calendar rn is projecting when that collateral attack is filed https://t.co/kialiVfeMz

That’s more like it.Marjorie Taylor Greene going all the way to New York only to be drowned out by general chaos is just delightful.
— Schooley (@Rschooley) April 4, 2023
Who does she plan to get to bring these investigations to the relevant grand jury? or: tell me you don’t know anything about the legal system without, etc. This is the meaningless threat of a person who proclaims she’s going to NYC, gets there and can’t get noticed, and flees home after literally 5 minutes. She’s Trump, IOW: long on noise, short on attention span. Especially when she’s not getting the attention. If President Trump can be charged for “falsifying business records” and hiding relevant information from voters in the 2016 election, then 51 people from the Intel community, who signed a letter stating the Hunter Biden laptop is fake, CAN BE CHARGED for hiding relevant…

I "reviewed" it in clips on Acyn and Aaron Rupar. It was just the live version of his latest tweets. Not even worth trying to post here. Repetitive and sad! ๐.@maddow is so good. https://t.co/ktTA0U6hSG

Is he gonna do this three more times? This is just sad and pathetic. Low energy. Whiny. These people were expecting a fiery, defiant, loud, declaration of war and they got grandpa in assisted living whining that his oatmeal is cold. https://t.co/F9lRwEy3HJ

CNN and Fox are carrying Trump’s speech. MSNBC is not

Benny doesn't deny that Trump committed a crime because he believed he needed to do so to get elected. He just thinks Trump shouldn't be charged with this many felonies for doing so. pic.twitter.com/W7dLbaqBHe

Donald Trump Jr has tweeted a photo of the NY judge’s daughter. This contributes to the risk and threat picture and is an indicator of the threat strategy we’re likely to see moving forward.

Won’t be long until there’s a line on which court issues the first gag order, and then the next, and then the next…*Hoo boy https://t.co/pqMFZHbOPp

I figured the judge wouldn't put a gag on at first. I know not "prior restraint" per se, but I'm sure he was like, "I can't look like I'm oppressing this chud, so I gotta at least give him an opportunity to behave properly." Then, when the threats/incitement happen...Yup. And each subsequent court will find it easier to be less lenient in a shorter time period.
