Imagine if, instead of graphics attempting to figure out who Trump's lawyers are (which will be out of date in a few hours anyway), cable news had graphics showing the criminal past of corporate persons named Trump.

Representative George Santos, who embellished his resume by claiming to have worked on Wall Street, will face a Republican primary challenge from someone who actually did — a former JPMorgan vice president https://t.co/gbBFQ0bF33 via @bpolitics

I’m detecting a theme here:The day before his arraignment in New York, Trump calls on Bragg to “indict himself.” pic.twitter.com/617LfjdhW2

Trump rants against 'radical left lunatic' Jack Smith as he prepares for arraignment https://t.co/T3PTHVJkui
— Raw Story (@RawStory) April 4, 2023
Special 'Prosecutor' Jack Smith ... leaked massive amounts of information to The Washington ComPost," he said on his Truth Social platform shortly before midnight Monday.
"This is illegal, and I assume this Radical Left Lunatic, much to the chagrin of his Trump Hating wife and family, will be PROSECUTED? He is a totally biased Thug who should be let loose on the Biden Documents hidden in Chinatown, and the 1,850 BOXES secretly stored in Delaware, which Biden REFUSES to give up. Biden is guilty of Obstruction, I am not!"But this is what I’m looking forward to:
The king of that court is the judge 'and one way or the other Trump will learn that': legal expert https://t.co/WLtQQRjuVr

“That is an excellent point, Lawrence, but I also want to pick up on what Andrew and Neal were saying," Horwitz began. "You have got two consummate professionals who specialize in representing the type-A executives who are in the same kind of trouble that Donal Trump is in. These are both lawyers who are not afraid to speak their minds bluntly with their clients. And they will tell their clients you cannot do this if you want to succeed in the courtroom because as Andrew or Neal said or I have said on one of these programs, the king in the courtroom is Judge Juan Merchan. And one way or another defendant Donald Trump is going to learn that. And his lawyers understand that and they are the kinds of people who are going to set lines for the guy, and say you cannot do this."The judge could even stop Trump from attacking Bragg:
Yeah, I mean it would be well within his rights, I think, as a judge to preserve to the court to say something like that," said former acting solicitor general Neal Katyal. "Trump may try to challenge it, but there are no so-called interlocutory appeals. He could not delay the trial because of it."
I really think we need to pace ourselves. I mean, we could be looking at four courts and four different opportunities for gag orders. As cable hosts wax breathless about how unprecedented it is for Trump's biological (as opposed to his corporate) person to be arraigned, consider that within 6 months time we could be weighing which of 4 arraignments he worse the best.

Well, it is unprecedented that a state legislature would kick out members because they welcomed children to watch the sausage being made (isn’t it?). But people shouting in the streets is much more telegenic! And besides, wasn’t MTG just on “60 Minutes “?! She’s a news celebrity! The people demand video of her in Manhattan! That’s just science!American political coverage today can be about big consequential stories in Wisconsin, Tennessee, or Florida. Or it can be wall to wall discussion of a handful of tinfoil hat loons protesting for Trump or his other efforts to cash in on his crimes (see tonight’s speech.)
