ew is right:
Folks: A lot of what Trump does merits criticism for his authoritarianism.

His claims about Biden's autopen signings REALLY must be treated with outright mockery. Effectively, these people are claiming they don't know how the Federal Register works.

I say this deserves mockery for two reasons.

One, if Bondi tried to take action on it, the same judges who dutifully implemented Trump's own irregular pardon would uphold Biden's.

But far more importantly: mockery can be used as a useful tool against authoritarians, and this is appropriate moment.
This is ranting old man declares himself “King of Tides” bullshit. The only thing void here is this “proclamation.” Pardons work because the courts uphold them, not because the President is the State.

Now is the time for pointing and laughing. Although I’m sure Lindsey Graham will tell us we must respect Trump’s authoritah!

(By the way, there’s nothing infirm about Biden’s pardons, autopen or not; but postings on social media are not official government documents.)
