Rosenmontag Dusseldorf

Even Germany celebrates Epiphany:
On March 3, 2025, the legendary Rosenmontagszug (Rose Monday Parade) winds its way through Düsseldorf's city center. On a route of almost 5 kilometers, local clubs and guests from all over Germany present the session motto “Hütt on wie et wor” in a colorful spectacle.

The Düsseldorf Rosenmontagszug (Rose Monday Parade) 2025 is the highlight of the Düsseldorf carnival. On 3 March, several thousand revellers will parade through the city center along a route of around 5 kilometers, accompanied by enthusiastic carnival revellers and cheerful music. The traditional carnival culture is celebrated under the season motto “Hütt on wie et wor” - colorful, exuberant and full of joie de vivre. The imaginative floats, costumes and performances make the procession an unforgettable experience that attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators year after year. The Rosenmontagszug (Rose Monday Parade) transforms the streets of Düsseldorf into a sea of color and cheerfulness.
The annoyance of MAGA is just lagniappe. This “Feast of Fool” exuberance is why their spiritual ancestors, the Puritans, banned Christmas (Epiphany is an extension of the celebratory 12 days until Ash Wednesday.).
