The leader of the Republican Party:
"[DeSantis] copies so much, you know? ...He throws the hats the same as I do. Goes shoom, shoom. ...I don't even do it anymore, you know, because of that I don't even do it anymore. ...I do the hats when I come in sometimes, not often, but sometimes and all of sudden he's doing the hats. He's throwing out red hats and he's doing the same way, the flick of the wrist. You start off low."Same person:
"Under the Trump administration patriotic protectionism, we need protection. Some people would say, 'oh, that such a terrible word.' It's not a terrible, nationalism's not a bad word either. I'm nationalistic. I think most of the people here, but if you say that to the radical left lunatics they'll say, 'oh, that's terrible, conspiracy.' But it will be the American way and the American way of life again. It used to be that way. It's time for a rebirth of loyalty to our country. We need loyalty to our country."The President of the United States:
Biden concluded the speech with an incredible account of him meeting Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir as a new Senator during the Yom Kippur War in 1973, the last time a full-scale war was declared by Israel.
After the meeting, Meir noticed Biden looked troubled and took him aside. "Don't worry Senator Biden," Meir said. "We have a secret weapon. We have no where else to go."
Biden said the meeting gave him no doubt as to the resolve of the Israeli people, and that the U.S. would continue to have Israel's back for generations.
The story of meeting Meir during war underscored Biden's unmatched experience in world affairs, and that he is the right person to helm the United States and the free world through this time of uncertainty and fear.Lordelpus if the roles were reversed right now. Or ever.
