Sad, but true. And then there are Xians like me, who think salvation is misconstrued and a gross distortion of the teachings of Jesus and Paul. But maybe that’s just me.

Yup. And all of history existed just to create us. Yay us! History is lucky to have us.

I would love for that to be the case. If I get to Heaven and Jesus tells me I was dead wrong about Hell, I'll jump for joy. But I don't see how that gets squared with much of the New Testament, including the words of Jesus Himself.

That’s the easy part. It’s all about interpretation, and most people are only exposed to atonement soteriology, which is not the only way to understand Xianity. See? Doesn’t that clear everything up?

Theology is a necessary evil.
