In the last year of her life the price jumped. Fortunately she could afford it. I have no idea if the price rose and fell since she died. In the United States, insulin costs over $98 per unit, whereas the rest of the world it costs less than $10. The medication keeps many people alive.
Sen. Chuck Grassley has been complaining about the price of insulin since 2019, so I guess nothing has changed. He’s also done nothing about it, but that’s beside my point.
