Any Time, Any Place

Just a reminder: Trump's first trial is in April. Apparently all his “delaying tactics” couldn’t delay the trial indefinitely. And in my experience civil trials are much easier to delay than criminal ones. Something about the 6th amendment and “speedy trials”…

And considering the disaster that Trump’s deposition was (Ms. Carroll is “not his type,” but he mistook her for Marla Maples in a picture of her from the time of the alleged rape. I still find that hilarious.), that case is going to come down to the jury charge (what the judge tells the jury the law in this case is). Technical stuff, in other words. On the facts, it’s Trump’s word against hers, and he’ll destroy his own credibility before cross-examination,

His biggest protection in the criminal trials is the 5th amendment. It won’t protect him in April.

Any time, any place.
