One Capitol police officer was murdered by the mob. Another had his head smashed in a door by the mob. Some ran through the halls looking for Senators (!) and VP Pence. I don't think they wanted their autographs. Homicidal, but not genocidal. Good enough for me, especially considering the gear in the photograph.
Not to mention AOC voted for the bill Cruz accused her of opposing, she advised the Harvard product to check his facts before he lied.
