What Charlie Said

I want to take their argument seriously.  I'm convinced myself already that Trump's claims were illegitimate because in 60+ court cases no court found even the suggestion that there were grounds for a complaint (the legal term "complaint," I mean).  It's nice to read this:

But there is absolutely no evidence of fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election on the magnitude necessary to shift the result in any state, let alone the nation as a whole. In fact, there was no fraud that changed the outcome in even a single precinct. It is wrong, and bad for our country, for people to propagate baseless claims that President Biden's election was not legitimate.

But ultimately unnecessary.  People who don't understand the fraud claims were false, aren't going to understand now.  As Jesus famously said in a parable, even a dead man coming back to life won't convince them, they've already got all the evidence they need.  And they won't listen to that.

So while I first thought Mr. Pierce a bit harsh, I have to agree with him:

Unless this same group is going to put the same effort into an argument refuting Voter ID and Shelby and its progeny, and all the other measures passed by state legislatures to "protect" voting by limiting who can,  and supporting the legitimacy of the Voting Rights Act as written, and arguing against the complete refusal of Congress to do anything about voting reform and access (when there is so much they could do, starting with passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act), then bugger your "arguments.”

Your arguments bought and paid for what has been wrought on this country, and now you're upset the hooligans you invited to the party have taken it over.  Sucks to be you.  And fuckabunchaya.
