No, not that. Racism. Can’t be too blatant about it.  Also, Loving barely made a ripple, even in the turbulent’60’s. Obergefell, on the other hand, prompted all manner of “moral” and “religious” objections. 

Racism is still the only prejudice we can only embrace behind closed doors. 🚪
