What, you mean these kinds of questions weren't important to the question of who should be President? It's good to get a sit down out of the way. But this is exactly what it was: having a journalist go through the Republican attacks and having her respond. That's fine. But it's not some necessary for democracy thing or something you need a prestige journalist for. https://t.co/4Gj1tIoSBj

For the peanut gallery, that is a "horse race" question. I'm no longer sorry I missed this interview."We need to bring an end to the era where the measure of a strength of a leader was based on who you beat down vs where we believe that the true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up" https://t.co/Er0HvyGRsI

Talking about what Vance said about what Harris didn't say is fine, so far as it goes. Now maybe we could see some reporting on the Trump-Vance complete lack of policy proposals. Trump says he'll pay for everybody's IVF. Trump doesn't say he'll make IVF uniformly legal in all 50 states. So what the hell is Trump's policy on IVF? IUI? Any other fertility treatment (none of them are cheap, few are covered by insurance).things are going well I see pic.twitter.com/jK1fxINjt3

In humor veritas.Opinion | IVF should be safe, illegal, and free.

NOT a horse race issue. Which may explain this:This is no way for a government official or political candidate to conduct themselves on the sacred ground of Section 60 at Arlington. The final resting place of so many heroic Americans -- including some who died under my command -- is not a political prop. pic.twitter.com/f2A9wwbdHP

Although I think the simple explanation is NYT and WaPo want their Trump tax cuts, and Harris is promising to raise taxes on the rich (because, like banks, that's where the money is).For real: Something has happened to/at the NYT, in its politics coverage.

And the stonewall refusal to address it adds to the problem. https://t.co/s1uZRkXh7k
I think there's something to that.Trump is no longer in his natural habitat, and cannot adapt to the new terrain. It’s survival of the fittest, and Trump is entirely unfit. pic.twitter.com/bSAvLh7Xwk
